snow, snow, snow...

It's been going for hours, and at first I wasn't bothered, but now it's starting to stick a little. :P I wish I'd made a post during the winter every time it snowed, but it's not news at that point. We literally had a storm every Wednesday for weeks on end, and occasionally another day of the same week as well.

Eor's putting together a lovely new set of shelves in the corner of the kitchen, for his stereo equipment. It feels a lot more dark and dominating than I thought it would, but it's not overwhelming, it works. I wonder if this means we'll have more book space? Not that it isn't already all accounted for if we do - both our bedside tables are stuffed to the gills and stacked perilously high.

My book pile (also on a bedside table) is now at maximum height. Luckily since I moved here I've managed to reign in a lot of my hoarding instinct and I don't mind getting rid of most of them. The novels anyway. If I want to read 'em again I'll buy 'em again. Ha, you'd think I had a job the way I talk!

Y'know, Eor conquered his hoarding instinct a few years ago and gave away a bunch of novels, and then regretted it because he wanted to read them again and didn't find them so easy to find - so his hoarding instinct has kicked in BIG time, and now he won't get rid of anything, even if he hated it. ;) He'll probably swing back the other way, soon, because he also hates clutter.
