People keep asking me if I have a surgery date for my shoulder, yet, and I have to keep saying that I do not. Still waiting on the sleep apnea test.

Plans are being made for my time off in April, and I've checked in with the surgeon's office - they don't think it would be a good idea for me to hike if I've just had surgery. So... I guess the surgery will be after that vacation. One of my coworkers expressed the opinion that I damned well deserve to take time off in the summer, but I actually don't want to. Come summer I'll want to be out pulling roses and such, I don't want to have just had surgery.

In other news, I'm very much looking forward to spending time with my brothers, at some point - both of them at once! It's been a few years since we've all gotten together. I'm not exactly sure how long, at the moment, but we last met up in Seattle.

Do you mean the surgery or the hike would be put off?

That's great about your brothers. Far flung family can be difficult. I haven't seen all three of my siblings at once in living memory!

Hikes can't be put off, they can only happen when they can happen. ;) Surgery will have to happen after the hike. I should edit the entry to make that clearer.

Oh, I found another typo as I was editing that. I had developed a Southern accent for a moment and put 'a' instead of 'I'. guck.

I really can't stand the Southern accent in general, but I have been known to use the phrase 'alla y'all' because I like the rhythm of it.
