still kickin'
I'm really glad I asked for yesterday off, even though I didn't feel like I was a tremendous help in actually moving all that rock. I was some help, and every tiny bit of help is useful when there's that much rock to move.
Thursday I had a bit of a scare, though - the Training Coordinator at work said his and Skipper's days off had been canceled and I'd have to be in over the weekend also, helping them, because there was just tremendous amounts of training to do. I freaked and called Eor, but then went to my manager and asked about it and he said if they really needed me they would call, but not to worry about it. I suspect it was the TC doing the "If I have to be in everyone who's marginally connected with training should have to be in!"
Earlier today I had a wicked headache and was so cold, but I took three Advil and moved some of the gravel around in the basement (it has to get spread to about a depth of two inches over most of the floor) and now I feel better. :)
