gossip returns

That gossip post I made yesterday, I also put it into email form and mailed out to a bunch of people who used to work at the airport and have moved on to better things. 

Results are as follows:

I found the address of CS, the one who has been not showing up to work and been on the schedule as running a baggage station by himself.  He responded!  Said he has quit and laughs at the letters they keep sending him threatening to fire him, as he's already found another job.

Another ex-co-worker (CBG) who worked for years in other branches of the gov't responded that it used to be (or was in the other branches) that you could always access the personnel policies, and couldn't be pushed around near as much as what TSA does to us.  I wonder if this is the way it's going to be from now on with all branches of gov't or if TSA is different, or if it's this administration and things will get back on an even keel with a new president?

Another xcw (HS) invited me out for a drink and bitch gossip session on Wed the 3rd.  And he's lived in Portland all his life so he knows which pub is at the bottom end of my street.  Still, Wed is not a good day, getting out of work at 8pm and getting up at 6am.  I countered with telling him about the thing Mainertoo is organizing for the 13th.  Motor Booty Affair is doing their disco-funkadelia thing at Thatcher's, and Mainertoo wants everyone to go. 

Aand now I really have to get my butt out of here - I need to get to work and put in for the 19th off so we can go to FL for [livejournal.com profile] eor's sister's wedding.  I meant to leave early and also get my time sheet in.  Ouch.
