That sounds fine. The only possible problem I could see with that method is that often I realize that the rice cooker is dirty (because I left rice in it too long and I don't trust it anymore) and I need to make fresh right now. That's usually at 5:20AM and it has to be done by 6 to get into Eor's lunch. Because I'm a flake that way.
