I feel horrible about every bad thing I've said about Heinlein." to the boy and got the first real laugh out of him I've heard all day (he's sick with a horrible headcold and I have some evil cold-hybrid thing that makes me throw up in the middle of the night.) so thank you!

we turned our heat on tonight for the first time this season, mostly because we weren't baking something for dinner. it's nice, but now with my computer farther away from the one set of baseboard heat that we use, I think I will need a lap-robe this winter. I have a little rug already for my toes though.

but hey, at least we still have power. (oh, now she's gone and done it. drat.)
