I love all these pics of Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart in bowler hats. Now I want x-over fic where Gandalf falls into the Next Generation / original series Star Trek universe, Gandalf and Picard gad about in bowlers and for some reason Sulu wears a kilt. Because wtf not? Why has some craichead friend of mine not already written this?

So, since I have to teach a brand new class that I'm only barely familiar with, tomorrow, and I have to be bright and chipper and clearheaded, I have decided to finish off this bottle of wine.
