Today, Derien travelled 1.8 miles on the journey from Bag End to Rivendell.
Crossed The Water on a plank bridge
A total of 3.9 miles along the way.
(Really, of course, I was walking on a treadmill in a fitness room. There was only one other person there {ETA: Aside from me and Eor, I should have said!}, a tall thin man with a long white beard doing yoga in his jeans and flannel and playing a pretty decent mix of music for us. This actually is real Maine.)
