boring post is boring

I'm home and good. :) I don't know if it's fortunate or unfortunate that of course they found nothing wrong with me. It's what I expected. I came home, Eor went out and got breakfast for me, then I fell asleep for over two hours. He eventually had to wake me with promises of tea and ice-cream - while I was asleep he'd gone up to the UPS store in Brunswick, where we receive packages, and picked up a package he'd ordered including five boxes each of rooibus, ceylon and lapsang souchong. And then I made dinner and dubbed around online watching videos about daleks and Amy Pond, even though I've never seen any of the shows with her. Because she's hot, why not? Also, because I've finished reading all the Questionable Content.

I still haven't had my promised ice-cream. *is on the prowl*

Ack, I just saw this! I'm glad you were home quickly and nothing bad was found. Do you need more tests and what other help can they give you?

The gastro doc prescribed me an antispasmodic, and I just got around to taking my first one this evening. I've been resistant to the idea because I don't like medicating just to see if it will help, but I don't know if there are any more tests they can do. Also it seems like a relatively harmless drug. Maybe it IS just irritable bowel or something of the sort. It's not as though it's an incapacitating pain, I just began to get fretful about it because it advanced up the line of my intestine. My brother is having stabbing pains through his lower abdomen, too, and it seems possible to me that they're really nothing, we're just fretful about them having just lost our father to pancreatic cancer.

Better safe than sorry, so I'm glad you went for tests. Did they tell you how soon the drugs would have an effect (if they do)?

Should take effect right away, I'm guessing, since they say 'as needed.' Now, I took them last night and a little while after I took them I still had achey/burny pain, but today I've been good so far as I can tell, so maybe! :)
