(no subject)

Soooo.... my last minute, last ditch attempt to do a Not Me post really failed completely. I should just have quietly gone off to bed and pretended as if I'd completely forgotten and had been too busy instead of admitting to the world that in fact I had absolutely no inspiration, yesterday. In the morning I had tried to think about the hyper dimensional mouse idea, or the other thought I'd had of blogging as my work badge (yeah, lame) Oh well. Looking down my flist page it doesn't seem a lot of other people found inspiration yesterday, either, though innocentsmith did quite well.

Lilacs are coming into bloom! I think this is a little early, but quite possibly it's within normal parameters, I'm not sure.

Man, I am bleh. Can't focus, can't write, can't complete a friggin thought, headachey. Completely useless.

I desperately want to go see the new Star Trek movie at the Imax. I was talking about it with Mistress of the Night, but for me and Eor it's too late for this week - it would have had to have been tonight and it's obviously not going to be - and I'll bet she'll go sometime this week with her daughter if they can find someone to watch the grandson. Or with Mainertoo.

So we watched a few eps of Red Dward, instead. :D Odd, though - I distinctly recall them all having a teaser trailer thing before the opening when I originally saw them on TV, and they don't have those on the CDs. What's up with that? Because the teaser for "Kryten" had him interacting with the women in the crew of his ship before they crashed, and that was one of my favorite bits in the show - where he says he can't imagine what could be wrong with the engine as he just washed it, and there's soap foam coming out.

Time to put away the food and get some sleep - big day tomorrow; going to see lucylou at the Maine Comic Arts Festival.
