oh. my.

It's snowing.

We were just getting really excited, the past few days, about the fact that we could see the ground in a lot of places, and yesterday Eor voiced the thought that maybe today we could go see how the trails at Bradbury Mountain were looking. Yeah, I guess not.

That's okay, all that brown, dead grass and the black mounds of ice and dirt were really ugly, anyway. It's probably a relief to everyone to have them covered up with a blanket of new, white snow.

I think he's just trying to make me jealous

My step-adopted-nephew (who lives with my Dad) tells me he's got two shrews living in his room, and that one was in his bed the other night and ran right up his belly. He seems quite signed on with my opinion that they're pretty cool. :)

(no subject)

According to CNN the moon is supposed, this evening, to appear larger than it has for about 18 years...

All the snow that fell this morning had pretty much melted by the mid-afternoon, we were back to muck and black ice banks and it seemed quite warm, but it was pretty chilly when we went out to look at the moon. ;)
