Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] luvsrimmer!! :) :)

-------------

I guess some people consider the following a mild spoiler for Hitchhiker's Guide.  I wouldn't, but if you hate all spoilers don't click here to squee over the dolphin song with me

[livejournal.com profile] bravecows is doing commentary on some of her fics.  If there's anything better than reading her fics it's reading what she writes about the writing of the fics.  *adores*  I loved learning that she wrote about Aziraphale and Caphriel (Crowley) making Ducks as a sort of counterpart to Change because she had read a bit in a Wodehouse story where a guy who's life has turned into a mess feeds ducks, and he draws comfort from the dependability of ducks always being ducks.  Uh oh, way run on sentence, probably doesn't make sense.  Just read the intro to her Commentary on City of Angels. (and then get hooked and read the rest of it.  go on... you know you want to.)

I saved her Commentary on Angels Everywhere to read over breakfast, so must go make breakfast, now.

I would consider it linking the dolphin song a spoiler because, if I'd known that was coming at the beginning of the film, I wouldn't have laughed as hard as I did. Seriously. The surprise of it was half of the humor. Knocked me over, I was laughing so damn hard.

Best. Opener. EVAR.

If only I could find that blasted Wodehouse book again . . .

I'm glad you like the commentaries. :) They are so much fun to write I find it difficult to believe that they're fun to read, if you get me.
