package SQUEEE!

I got two packages in one day - Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] daegaer!! :):)

I now have lots of Weiss Kruez to watch, plus the new Dr. Who and new music, AND a book about homosexuality in the 19th century ("Strangers," Graham Robb), which I started reading immediately - too cool! *drools*

Well, that makes my day. :)  Which, until now had been rather boring.

Tomorrow morning is the TSA Literary Society Breakfast - which, I think most of us are probably more looking forward to just going out for breakfast together than really worrying about discussing the book.  Or I hope.  Because if I have to come up with something smart to say about The Red Tent I don't know what I'll do.  I'm not a dissector, really.  That's why I suck at writing comments, beyond, "yay, love it!"

Huzzah! Glad you like the loot :-)

(It's 3AM, I've been awake since 2.15! My taxi arrives at 4.40 - I think I have time for that shower after all . . .)

Ew, ick! I hate getting up early. I'd rather stay up all night. That was why I only did morning shift for a month. I had to be up at 2am every day. What torture. I had to take the shower first so I could move at all and not just fall asleep on my feet.

It's rather hideous, all right. I've been obsessing over my luggage and pacing the floor. I should probably have a cup of tea or something.

I've read "Strangers"! Twice, actually - once for fun, and once for research. Some of it's really good, then in some he starts talking about Sherlock Holmes and it all gets a little odd.

Ah, the odd stuff would be the stuff I'm looking forward to. ;) I hoped it was the book with the Sherlock Holmes stuff! :) I thought it might be, because I recall having a discussion with Daegaer about that a while back.
