I'm not going to edit my previous post to add this...

It seems to me that the basic problem is that people make an assumption that the quality of the work that you do has anything at all to do with what you do in your off hours.

I think this thought should stand in a post by itself.

I work in a supermarket occasionally on weekends, because I like it (no really), and about 0.001% of people look at me like I'm also a philosophy student with a 99.6 enter score.

So, yeah. I understand. I think.

(Of course, my brother's clever response to this would be "philosophy student? supermarket? same diff!")
