More friggin snow??  Enough already!

Also, I just dropped my last bite of sausage on the floor. *pout*

I think I'll take my book and go join Eor on the bed.  I'm reading Philip Pullman!  In the past couple of days I've devoured "The Golden Compass" and got most of the way through "The Subtle Knife" and (co-worker) Buck Nekkid says he's got "The Amber Spyglass" which he'll bring in for me.  I can't believe everyone else I work with has already read these and I never really encountered them.

Oooh, I keep meaning to pick those books up. I read The Golden Compass when I was a kid, and I want to re-read it and read the others.

So much fun! Very mythological feeling. It's partly all the 'ands' and 'buts' in the action - and he did this, and he did this and he did this, but this happened and the other guy did this - sounds very Beowulf-ey.

oooh, I'm glad you're enjoying them (or at least enjoying them enough to speed through them!)

this damn storm. we'd splurged on Great Big Sea tickets as an anniversary present, a couple of months ago, for the concert tonight in Boston - and are we there? no. and non-refundable tickets, to boot!

Enjoying them very much - enthralled. Finished "The Subtle Knife" last night and went 'aaaaargh!!' I can't believe how many important characters have died for a book that's meant for 9 - 10 year olds.

I only just read them myself a few months back. Really enjoyed them.
