Hi , all
Back from L.A. I slept a little over 2 hours last night, had some horrible snooze time on the plane, and have been out to dinner with Eor and had a drink... he told the Jasper-the-bartender that it wasn't he, Jasper-the-bartender, who would have to carry me home, but he, Eor the small and not-so-meek, so only one drink for me at the bar. But when we got home he gave me another. ;)
Class was amazing in a lot of ways, quite a good experience, and I got to hang with my brother nearly every night, except the night before the final presentation when I was preparing. Went to Griffith Observatory twice, so that's what I got postcards of, and I'll be sending those along tomorrow I imagine. I wish I could have got them sent out from L.A, but I only got on my email Friday morning and just didn't have time, it was go-go-go from there on out.
I also started reading "Love Among The Chickens" by Wodehouse, which.. such good phrases. Damn.
There were four people from the Virgin Islands at the training, two from St. Thomas and two from St. Croix, and the St. Thomas people indicated it might be possible for me to transfer down there, as they often have openings, but warned me that the cost of living is quite high. St. Croix is not as bad, being less touristy, but the airport is so much smaller that they don't have openings as often.
