Holiday lights encased in ice. (sorry about the headache-makingness of this pic. It was getting dark and I didn't want to use the flash to take a pic of lights, but apparently wasn't close enough for the lights to register with the camera and speed the shutter up.)

Apparently CNN.com thinks a police chase in California rates more than a quarter of a million people in the NorthEast being without power.
