Eor scammed some internet connection, somehow, and I did the "I'm an idiot and forgot my password at home" reset thing so I could check my friends page. We've done most of our visiting with Eor's family, finally got all our cards sent out, and even made plans with my Aunt. That will mean renting a car and a five hour drive (and five back, so ten hour round trip drive) to get down to my Aunt's place, because Florida is a loooong state, but I'm glad I'll be able to get down there and see her. She was unable to come up for my Dad's funeral and I suspected she might start feeling guilty if she knew I'd been in Florida and hadn't said anything to her, and it's unavoidable that she would find out I was in FL because she'll get a card with a local postmark on it.

Need to go look at rental car prices, now. I'll bet this will hurt.

I guess? I generally meet people through the communities, so it feels a little funny to just take on a random person, but okay. :)

I go the route of entering in my interests into the search page and then trying some of the people who update the most often - I just like hopping around for new, interesting blogs every now and then. I understand if you'd rather keep to people you know - I didn't mean to take you off guard.

No, it's okay. :) And I do think it's very polite of you to ask, because some people don't, they just friend me with no introduction at all. :)
