Yesterday we heard that one of our coworkers lost his father.

Today I heard (and I don't know if it's public knowledge or not) that another lost his wife. One of their kids is still in high school, I think. :(

February 24th, when I said I was tempted to do a roundup of obituaries, it was not only The Brig, but I think within a day or two before I'd heard of a different co-worker losing his father and another who's grandmother had died.

This is ridiculous.

That's shocking. They do seem to come in clusters though. It's a hazard for all of us who are still around!
