So I went to the dentist and got a cleaning, today, as I do every six months. This time they decided to take a panorama x-ray, as I had last had one about six years ago. I feel pretty proud of myself - I got to look at the x-ray before the doctor came in, and had already identified something of interest, so when he said,

"I'm just looking at this, here."

I said, "Yes! What is that?" Turns out it may be a calcification of a tendon or something, called Eagle Syndrome. He said he will forward that information to my primary care doctor, but -

"They won't do anything, because it isn't important. Not a problem. Just makes people a little lightheaded if they turn their head too far to the side for too long."

"Okay, so I don't turn my head for too long or I might pass out. Got it."

Anyway, I'm going to my primary for a physical in a month, and she might ask for more tests to make sure there's nothing else going on, but meanwhile I'll avoid looking at symptoms.
