I just finally planted those flowers that have been sitting around since the service for my Dad - a bachelor's button (which is much taller than I imagined such a plant should be, with much bigger flower), some things which I think are daffodils but which had a tiny sign on them which I found today that said 'bell song,' and the things which were labeled 'violas' and appear to be a type of pansy. And now my legs feel all weak and shaky! Try kneeling and levering yourself up and down without your hands (because they're busy doing something else) for most of an hour.

IDK if violas are a type of pansy or their own thing but they're really pretty. I had some before the geraniums took over that flower bed again.

I thought it was a nice idea that someone sent perennial plants, and I was surprised my stepmother didn't seem to want them. She took the headstone and was going to put it outside someplace on the lawn where she could see it and plant flowers around it, but I think she already had some bulbs she was going to use. But then I wasn't going to take them, either, only Hawk's Mate volunteered me, saying she would help me plant them. Then she got too busy just before going home, but that's okay.
