Another power outtage this morning. Getting a little tiresome. Only brief, but this kind of thing is what scrambled one of my previous computers and caused me to lose a ton of stuff. Most is backed up these days - every few months. We have a hard drive that we keep in a safe deposit box. No cloud for Eor.
Anyway, I finished watching Lord of the Rings today while on the treadmill. And decided to start re-reading the book. The edition we have is in one cover and claims that is the way it is supposed to be read. I suppose that's true, as I don't think Tolkien ever did info dump to remind the readers about events in previous books.
The other day I told Eor all about something he was quite conversant with, but told him I was ACTUALLY doing info dump for the readers.
He replied, "oh, so we have Star Trek to thank for mansplaining?"
