waste of time?

Do you ever spend a hour or more writing a post, then delete the whole thing because you realize you don't want to talk about that with other people, yet? Yeah. I just did that. It's thoughts about writing, specifically "Swept Away" - ha, bet you thought I had completely abandoned that story.

But writing helps me collect my thoughts, even if I do delete it afterward.

Never an hour writing-
But I have self censored
emails for any number of reasons.
Maybe play with the writing process
and think of it as a draft thereby getting the benifits of collecting
your thoughts without sharing.

I think that may be a good way to look at it - that hour wasn't wasted, I was processing what I want to do. And I think I figured it out.
