We're home. SO out of it. I'm making tacos, now, so hopefully we'll start feeling better. Tacos represent normalcy, I guess, because somehow we both feel that's what we need to start getting ourselves shaken out of this strange spaceyness. The van is unloaded - I stripped it of just about everything - and we've got dishwasher and laundry going, so we're well on the way to getting everything else back to normal.

We did hang out with [personal profile] cyberquail, [personal profile] littleredhead and [profile] groundctrl yesterday, but the King Richard's Faire was canceled on Saturday on account of the rain - can you believe it! "The horses can't joust, the tigers can't come out, the dancers can't dance." How lame. We camped through it, and the vendors don't want to sell food and clothes and stuff?

Actually, though, they gave us two comp tickets and Eor and I went in for a little while this morning, and we think possibly it was all a lot more flooded than they said - it was still pretty wet. They decided to have the sword fights on foot in a crushed rock area rather than in the arena.

Anyhow, since we couldn't go to the Faire and we all only had the one day together to hang out, yesterday we went in to Plymouth and wandered through the shops and had Indian food, which was quite worthwhile and fun. :)
