When I said yesterday something about spongy material in Eor's ear, well, the doctor showed us an anotomical drawing yesterday so that I could see clearly what he was talking about as far as what they did in the operation. The "spongy" stuff is actually the mastoid bone. And the amount of bone they took out was terribly miniscule, just a shaving, really.:) (<--smile of relief!:))
Last night he began having allergy problems and sneezing, which scared him because he was afraid he was going to blow out the patch they put on his eardrum. So this morning I got up and cleaned. And you know what? This place was dirty! Okay, it still is, but now it's 6 dusting-rags-full less dirty in two rooms.
