Lifted weights until my arms are shaking, this morning, trying to get ready for being trained down in the baggage stuff I mentioned a few days ago. No indication that I'm going to be trained soon, but then again they never tell us anything until right before it happens.
Funny bit of the day at work yesterday was a guy (I've mentioned N. in previous posts, but you won't know who I mean) opening his lunchbox and pulling out a huge lump of tinfoil that turned out to be a hambone. He growled fearsomely over it, though he only nibbled a little directly off and then proceeded to hack at it with a steak knife. Nope, he didn't make a sandwich, just ate it. I was like, "Dude, I _love_ you, because lots of places I go people think _I'm_ a bit odd. But with you around, I can do anything I want!"
I got an e-mail from my brother, Hawk, last night mentioning he's showing up today or tonight sometime. I'm so excited! I adore Hawk, and it's wonderful having him around. I had thought he was coming here more toward the middle of January, but I was probably remembering wrong. Good thing I made up the guest bed a couple of days ago.
Oops, I think my egg is overcooked by now.
