But when I don't write for a while, small stuff builds up. What I will attempt to do is backdate my journal, but in case that doesn't work I'll fill in dates on things as well.

On July 12th Homeruns, the company which I worked for for the last 2 years, which laid me off on June 22nd... well, the company finally closed it's doors. Actually, this is fast, some companies drag it out forever trying to fool people into thinking they're not really under. We won't name names {but the initials are HN}.

So, on July 15th I woke up from having had a dream that Homeruns wasn't really gone. Common grieving dream - I dream the same about my Grandmother (she isn't really dead, she's just been hiding in her house). In this dream I went to speak with someone about what had happened with my health insurance, and there was a huge health fair going on (with lots of free cake and cookies - shows what I think of health fairs ;)). I ran into several people, who appeared to be working, some had in fact had been up all night dealing with some problem, among them my ex-boyfriend. (I have no idea why, I don't think he should be in any way connected in my mind with Homeruns, maybe it's just a loss/change thing - he's another person gone from my life.) Anyway, someone admitted to me that they weren't really closed down, that was just a ruse to allow them some time to deal with things.

So, grieving, of a sort. I would have thought I'd have been glad enough to be rid of the place... but I guess that even if I didn't want to be there anymore I really didn't want the whole place to be gone, and all the people I knew scattered to the winds.
