Turmeric, a major ingredient in curry (which I eat a LOT of - :)) may actually kill blood cancer. Of course, since no particular drug company can profit off of that, because turmeric is widely available, the researchers have not found any company which will fund long-term studies. Still, they haven't been able to show that it is toxic at any level, and there's also the added side effect that curry makes you feel happier (a study done in Britain a couple of years ago showed that the spices in curry encourage your body to produce endorphins), well, it's a no-lose.
