never time

Per usual I haven't had time to write much, lately, so if anyone wants to know what's up with me and eor, you might as well read Eor's LJ instead.

This week I'm sad because jimdes has given notice and these are his last days at PWM. It's still up in the air as to where and when his going-away party will be - he wants to go to a strip club on Monday, which I really shouldn't because Eor's parents will be back from Salisbury Beach for their last day here, but I really want to attend his party, so.... I hope he decides Saturday will be better, even though the beer costs more.

Yesterday CG bought me frozen yogurt and tried to pass that off as he owes me one less backrub (I always tell him he owes me a backrub if he irritates me while I'm working, because that makes me all tense). I was very happy to have frozen yogurt instead of ham yet again - that ham Eor's Mom bought was just too much.

And! I got Terry Pratchett's "Nightwatch" out from the library! I'm psyched! :) I have to finish "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls" (Heinlein) first. *yawn!*

SqeeeeeEEEE!!!!!

Guess who came through the checkpoint at Portland Jetport today?? Go on, you'll never guess!! ALAN ALDA!! I didn't recognize him because he's so OLD, which surprised and saddened me - I still want him to look the same as he did on M*A*S*H*. (Everyone else recognized him instantly, I felt like an idiot, but maybe that's because I never watch TV so I haven't seen how old he's gotten.) But he's still got the same voice, which nearly made me faint.:) I wanted to tell him that people write the most interesting fics about Hawkeye and Trapper John, but I didn't, I was completely unable to say anything at all.

And other unrelated stuff about the rest of my day...
