Hm, I just realized I haven't written anything sinceeor got back from Florida. Probably because I've just been too content.;) Last night we went to Adam Brodsky's show in Portsmouth NH. He's on his 50/50 tour - playing all 50 states in 50 days, so I was kind of afraid that his energy wouldn't be there because he probably hasn't had any rest in a couple of weeks. But I was very wrong - he totally kicked ass.:) If you check his schedule on his website and find he's going to be in your area, try to make the show.
The next thing on my list is to make sure I don't miss the Beat Soup show at Inn on the Blues in York Beach (ME).
Being back to work after 10 days off was interesting - I'm so much more chilled out. I was getting really stressed for a while. I hope this lasts a bit. I was afraid I would have a hard time getting back into the groove of the work, but no problems at all. My first half hour on the x-ray after getting back, yesterday, was amazing, I had a very good hit rate. And today I spotted a set of small screwdrivers - which was funny, because when I pointed them out my bag search person said "you have a vivid imagination, you should stop reading those books, those aren't screwdrivers!" Oh yeah, they were.:) He doubts me. *polishes fingernails*
I should get to bed - I've got to get up early tomorrow and get some things done. I found a paycheck from over a year ago, I have to go photocopy it and then send it registered mail to my former employer so they can research it and see what happened there. I think I may have lost it and they cut a new one for me, but (always hopeful!) it could potentially be money I earned and never got. :)
