My Yahoo email has been filled with spam every time I've checked it, lately, and it will all be something inane like this:

Just tell me your answer, even if it sucks. Can you tell me the answer? she asked. It was cold and sweet. There's something I should tell you.

Can you tell me the answer? she asked. Just tell me your answer, even if it sucks. I was just thinking. (I'd seen something really weird. :)

He extended his hand by way of introduction. Suddenly, she wasn't there. He wanted to know more. Sounds good to me, I said.

I'd walk down to the stream, look around, and take a deep breath. The continuation of our species matters more than you can imagine. It is the single most important thing we can do. He wanted to know more. There were many examples of animals all around. Suddenly, he disappeared.

But the confusing thing to me is - that's it. No website links, no "buy this product," nothing. What are they trying to accomplish, here?
I'm blaming it at least in part on the weather - it started sunny and promising to be warm, and I went out for a wonderful breakfast and a short walk with Caw, but turned chilly and overcast after [livejournal.com profile] eor went to sleep (around noon). I keep telling him that it does this every weekend day, but he doesn't believe that he's not missing anything because it stays sunny until he goes to sleep.

Then I got email from my brother saying he's now not planning on coming back to Maine to live for a couple of years, but just visit for 2 months this summer. This bummed me out. I mean, I know I should be glad if he comes to visit and I get to spend some time with him, and I will be, but it had crossed my mind to put in for a transfer to New Orleans and I didn't do it at least in part because I thought he'd be here for the next couple of years. Now the transfers have been stopped again. Oh well. I just have to tell myself they may start doing transfers again, someday.

The good point of my day - saw [livejournal.com profile] lemondropgirl in the grocery store and got a hug from her.:) It's probably obvious to anyone who gets/gives hugs with me that hugging is not the most natural thing for me, but I'm trying to get more comfortable with it. And somehow when I saw her, looking a little racoon-eyed, and I know she's had a rather hard week, my first thought was that I wanted to give her a hug. And then I didn't - we had a little conversation like one tends to have in the store, and went our seperate ways. It kept nagging at me, though, so when I saw her again I made a dash by and did a kind of hug-and-run thing. :)

Now I really should do some dishes - I suppose [livejournal.com profile] eor might wake up, soon, and probably be hungry as a bear. I still haven't really worked off that breakfast.
