(no subject)

I got snail mail from afrai!! I pretended I was going to read excerpts from it to eor, but by the time I got halfway through I had to drop the pretense, as I wasn't skipping anything - every line delighted me too much. :)

*snuffle*

Damn it - I had a headache all day at work yesterday (well, I think two Advil put it into remission for a few hours, but later Tylenol and Aleve did nothing), and now it's back today. Along with sneezing and stuffy nose. My eyes feel like they're being pushed shut by the presure in my head. I do NOT want to go to work. And this feeling is exacerbated by knowing that eor already has a half-day scheduled for today - he'll be arriving home just a couple of hours after I got to work.:P

Trouble is, today is the last day before vacation. Which makes it like a double Friday, y'know? It's going to look suspicious if I just call in sick. But, given that everyone I worked with yesterday knows I had this headache all day, I can probably get away with putting in a norm form (so-called because Norm consistently cuts out a few hours early on his friday).

I've taken vitamin C. Maybe some allergy med. I frikkin hate being sick when I'm going into vacation, I don't want to do this.
