eor's very sick, so I'm just sort of orbiting him, at the moment - bringing a cool cloth or drink, rubbing his poor, aching limbs. It seems to be mainly a head cold, though I'm not sure he hasn't got a sinus infection, since the pain in his head seems so extreme.

I've been reading a mystery novel in what I guess is vaguely meant to be Dashiel Hammet style. As I've never read Dashiel Hammet I really don't know for sure. I'd like to learn to imitiate it, though, so what follows is an entry about my last half hour written in my imitation of that style. I think it probably sucks, but I'm open to constructive criticism. ( cooking is a mystery to me )

So, okay - fewer parenthetical comments are probably in order.
