new icon time

Hogswatch is over, it's time to move on.  Although this icon is actually the winter lights in Deering Oaks Park from a couple of years ago.

Things I'm laughing about tonight :)

First, Tootsiemuppet's filk of 'Auld Lang Syne' on Hanncoll's LJ - *grin*

Particularly the verse:
'And though we're now fandoms apart

And have a gay old time'

Then there's the randomely generated new year's resolutions...

Hey, they're as good as any others - I never keep resolutions anyway. 

The girl next door, hm.  They both seem to be college students - away for large chunks of time.  The one who lives across the alley seems to be good looking and might possibly be a lesbian, if her father is the guy who knows the guy I work with.  The other is a tall, strapping Eurasian chick who never looked at me for the longest time and then randomly decided to help me carry my groceries up one day, and I think I've seen her once since then.  I don't see a whole lot of possibilities here, as I never see either of them to talk to.

So, let's go for a different one.  This one should be easy to do!

My cat makes such weird noises.  The one that always cracks me up when she lets it go is something like, 'maWHOOO!'

And eor making me laugh, as he so often does. :)  He just burst out, appropos of nothing, "That's why you like me!  I resemble a hobbit!  I'm short and have furry feet!"  *giggles* :)
