Through [livejournal.com profile] yonmei I found something that's sucked up my last hour and a half very nicely - Americans who didn't vote for Bush apologize for Bush getting re-elected on the the "Sorry Everybody" site.  Now, this sounds stupid, initially, but some of them are really rather amusing, not to mention touching and sweet.  I'll try to make some links to some of my favorites (and I haven't looked at anything like all of them, there's over 7,000, this morning, and I'm sure they're still collecting.)  It's so hard to choose just a few, I feel like I'm leaving out so many worthy and wise comments.  But, you know, you have to go waste your own hour and a half, so there. ;)  Typical of me, I'll concentrate on the funny.:)

* Will Work For Citizenship

And every now and then there's a picture from another country saying "hey, it's okay, we understand, thank you for trying."

I'd ask you to come over, but it's so fucking cold here (Finland)

* Come to Germany, we've got plenty of space!

Now I must go do something productive - at least wash dishes, something.

edited to add: I finally installed the spellechecker for Semagic because [livejournal.com profile] eor teased me about having two misspelled words in my post on proofreading in books, but I swear the damned thing's on crack. It just insisted that 'nanotechnologists' was spelled wrong and that I replace that with 'nanotechnologists' - yes, identical letter for letter.
Parking ban for snow removal tonight.  For some reason I didn't even expect it tonight.  Gotta go put the car in a garage and tromp home - and then get it out again before 7AM.  Oh well, the walk will do me good.  :)
