(Saturday)
I just realized I never wrote about going out to the, erm, sort of play-type thing on Saturday.  [livejournal.com profile] eor wrote about it in his journal, and maybe I thought it was covered, but I did want to say that the whole evening was fun. :)

I had tried hard to get everything done in the day - laundry, recycling, grocery shopping, taking stuff to the Salvation Army.  (When I was a kid I thought that they were called the Salvation Army because they saved old things from being thrown away.)  After all that I ended up back home so late that we had to go into full frantic organization mode in order to get dinner cooked before Teena showed up, but we did it!  We cooked lamb curry, which usually takes me hours if I do it alone, in about half an hour, it had to be some kind of record.  And Teena brought spinach and green beans, which worked out well.  Of course we had to eat too fast, too, but then we got to chill out on the walk and sit and eat fries at the show, and the show started a little late, so we had plenty of time to talk, so all was good. :)

(Sunday)
What did I do, Sunday?  Hm.  I think I spent all morning chatting via AIM with [livejournal.com profile] tootsiemuppet about... stuff. :)  Probably her new house and Jeeves and Wooster would have been a good deal of it.  I don't think that was when I typed in a huge chunk of "Thank You, Jeeves" to illustrate a point I was trying to make about Bertie's round about way of talking to the other characters.  No, wait, I did do that on Sunday, but it was later.

In the afternoon [livejournal.com profile] matushan phoned and I spent quite some time chatting with her about... other stuff. :)  Did you know that Berber is one of the few languages (perhaps the only...?) which regularly has words that have no vowels in them?  It would be hard to yell a word which was all consonants.  Hopefully the Berber for "come to supper" has some vowels.  And also we talked about other stuff.  Yes, I do actually remember what a great deal of it was, but it's not necessarily something everyone needs to hear. ;)

Then I went back on AIM and chatted more with [livejournal.com profile] tootsiemuppet and typed in the great reams of TYJ.

So, Saturday night through Sunday was socializing.  The only thing that would make it better is if I'd hear from Caw, because I miss her.  Oh, maybe I ought to write?  What a thought.

Now my stinky tea is getting cold.  I should probably get my shower and breakfast because I'm walking to work today.  Or taking the bus.
