Gosh, it is so good to call in sick to work and get somebody who you know likes you.
Mainertoo: "You don't sound sick. I think you better rethink this sick thing - we here at the TSA can't do this without you. Hey, listen, the weather's so bad they've canceled everything for the afternoon, so they're not gonna miss you. Feel good about it, honey."
Now, why can't I ever get the DVD player to work for me? Sound, no picture. Grr. I listened to probably most of the first ep of Blackadder, but there's really no point when you can't see the screen and choose which ep you want to watch.
Time to make chicken soup. Wish I had some veggies... I have potatoes, carrots, garlic and ginger root, but no broccoli, peppers, celery, onions. Oh well.
