CeeJay has been demoted from Lead to Screener because of a sexual harrassement charge from Liza.  I can't tell you how much of a load of bullshit this is.  She also accused two other people at the same time, one being BuddyBoy, who's now gone. 

I haven't heard yet what's happened to the other, MS.  However, I was present for the situation which she reported as sexual harrassement from MS, and I it was harmless joking - she had already done worse to him.  She was repeatedly and harshly teasing him about having an affair with a particular person whom he's not at all attracted to and she wouldn't drop it, so he had someone come up to her and say that another person who she's not attracted to had been asking about her; if she had a boyfriend, etc.  This is fucking insane.  I mean, MS has been rather an ass toward women on many occasions - jimdes spoke to him a couple of times about it - but as far as I can tell MS has been more careful since those days and this little joke was nowhere in that league. 

And back to CeeJay and BuddyBoy - I totally know how those guys are, they're obviously completely joking and harmless and I know that truly worrying someone is NOT something either of them would want to do.  They're both kind and sweet people, if a little on the obnoxious side at times.  And apparently the things she's complained about happened months ago.  This is so wrong. 

My first impulse was that I really can't talk to Liza anymore, and that really nobody can afford to, because who knows but what something you say now, a couple of months from now she might decide that she's offended.  But eor pointed out that if everyone stops talking to her that would be retaliation, which is not allowed in cases of sexual harassment problems.  So, by calling sexual harrassement she can ruin someone's career with no repercussions to herself.  This is so fucking wrong. 

What eor says we should do is, every time she makes some comment that's joking in that same vein we have to call her on it: "I don't think that's appropriate."  He thinks she'll get the picture.    I have my reservations on that, because that's just the way the management wants us to be now, anyway.  No joking at all, no flirting, no teasing.  In fact, we have been told that if we hear anything off-color we are required to report it, so maybe she's just actually caved to the Big Brother thing and figured she had to report stuff before someone noticed that she wasn't reporting stuff and reported her for not reporting.  I don't know.

I can't post the friends collage.  I get this irreparable markup error, and I think it has something to do with Semagic adding in spacers (" "), but clicking "don't Auto-Format Entry" doesn't make that stop. :P
