If I'm not making lots of comments on your journals, here's why...

I just changed the email address listed on my LJ.  The old email address I had on there still works fine, and is in fact my primary email and usually the best way to reach me, but I'm leaving for DC on Sunday and the only way I'll be able to get any mail is if I can find an Internet cafe' and use my yahoo account.  So, Sunday the 27th to Friday the 4th, write to my yahoo account.  I cannot, however, promise I'll be able to respond to you because I have no idea if I'll have any access at all. 

Anyone who wants a postcard while I'm in DC, drop me an email before Sunday with your snail address and I'll try to get one out to you. :)  I know I didn't manage to do that well with Christmas cards, but I'll try to be better this time.  edited to add: If you're already on my christmas cards list I'll probably send you a postcard anyway.

And today I must:
- Sign and return the lease for our apartment in order to stay here another year.
- Complain about the tub being all rusty while I'm there. (tried to, but she said call Maintenance. I signed the lease for month-to-month and tried to leave her with the impression that I wouldn't do another year until the tub issue was sorted out.)
- Return the two bags of soda bottles accumulated while eor was laid up (so I won't have to do it tomorrow).
- Do the other recycling (ditto above reason - usually these are things I do on Saturday).
- Dispose of the litterbox, if there's room in the bins out back. (Yes, I'm still taking my time getting rid of everything that belonged to Paula. :( )
- Put the remaining (clean) litter in the car for ElvenGirl and CeeJay, or Jaylow - someone is sure to be able to use litter.
- Clean up the carrier and put THAT and the cat harness and leash in the car for ElvenGirl and CeeJay, as she already said they would take it.  (They just adopted two cats from the humane society and aren't fully outfitted, yet.)
- Do dishes
- Take out garbage

Ack, that's really enough to do today!  I think I've left too much for the last minute.  I'll be lucky if I actually get to half of it.

Today or tomorrow...

I think I should get a new notebook, not only for class notes but also for writing in, as the old one is about done.  I'm picky, I only like to write on unlined paper, and it's hard to find.  I'd prefer a lighter weight than what I've found so far, actually.

I'd also really like to find a small, black, canvas satchel, because I don't have a purse or anything respectable looking to carry things in, but that seems like a long shot for today/tomorrow.  Tomorrow the LL Bean employee store is open, and if that fits into my schedule (between grocery shopping, laundry and ironing) I'd like to go.  I don't think I'll find a satchel there, but maybe I should wait and see if I find something acceptable.
