I got an email at work, yesterday, saying that we were going to have in-house retraining on SPOT (remember that training I went to months ago, for noticing nervous people who might be up to no good?), but I could find no dates on the schedule that was sent out. It had me down for "Friday," and I was worried that it meant this Friday. But, I got hold of the guy who made the schedule, and turns out it's Friday the 17th. So, no conflict. That's the last day before
eor and I go on our week's vacation, but I didn't ask to get out early.
Come to think of it, this works out better, because the training schedule will allow me to get out of work at 5:30 in the afternoon. Because our original plan was that
eor would head to the campground with the van on Thursday afternoon and I would follow after dark in the car, but now the van is out of commission, I was going to have to put in an additional request to get out early.
The only challenge will be getting up to be in at 7AM when I don't get out of work until 8PM the night before. I mean, it's doable, I just won't like it. I don't know how much I'll absorb in class.
