Ah, Christmas, and the eternal question...

I asked Eor what I should get him for Christmas, and he said there really isn't anything that can compare to what I give him all year, in the normal course of life.  And he can say that sort of thing, with elaborations on exactly what he means, and not sound sappy, just sound like he means it. :) 

So I said I'd just get him what I've been thinking about, although I'm sure that even when he has the new one he probably won't throw out the old one. 

"I get attached to my old things," he said.

"Ah, good, then I'm safe," I replied.  "Even if you get a new one, you probably won't toss me out."

Must go do laundry.
