We just had lightning. Preposterous. Maine doesn't have lightning in March.
Went to Mistress of the Night's house last night to watch Four Feathers with some of the women from work. (We tried to get the guys to go, but they all claimed it was a chick flick. Well, the women all liked it, so maybe it is, even if it is bloody and graphic and violent and all kinds of other redundant words. :))
Mistress of the Night has acquired yet another nickname: Esmeralda. And it's not actually after Granny Weatherwax, but because guys at work couldn't remember her arguably odd middle name. It would be a whole lot less long to write Esme than Mistress of the Night.
However, I probably should NOT have had three glasses of wine and sandwiches and cake, because I couldn't get to sleep when I got home. I got around 5 hours of sleep all in all, I guess, and not very restful.
To continue the good news / bad news format: I decided to make leftover soup when I got up. There was rice, green beans, shredded cheese, and I had a jar of mushrooms and some canned milk. Yum. :) Bad news is, there's ton and a half of dishes, and I don't have time to do them. :(
And over my soup I watched this video, found thanks to
mizzmarvel - The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny!
And read my friends page.
eor was probably the busiest, for once. I wish other people would love his entries as much as I do.
I seem to be finishing this soup. Damn. I had intended to take it for lunch, but it's too tasty. Er, is that a good news or a bad news? Oh well, I have a can of tomato soup at work. And a stick of celery, half a green pepper, and some string cheese, so it's not as though I'll starve.
Ack! Look at the time! Must go. :( Walking.
