"Marlene Dietrich's Favourite Poem" was playing in my dream just before I woke up this morning.
It's snowing! First snow of the season! It seems awfully late this year. I've heard that polar bears are endangered by global warming. :( I wonder if genetic manipulation would allow us to make a polar bear that's gentle enough to keep as a pet? That would be so cool. Considering, though, that insurance companies are stamping out Rotweillers as a breed (I've heard that most won't let you buy homeowners insurance if you keep a Rotty) I suppose it's not likely that anyone would keep them even if they hypothetically could.
And that's my brain for you. I should get out of my pjs and go try to do some things this morning.
In the snow. heheheh. Part of me is like "*groan* Here it comes. Shoveling. Sliding on the road. Having to clean my car off before I can drive home/to work. Squeezing the car through streets narrowed to almost nothing. Having to find a place to park on plowing nights. Walking through slush and water on snow-packed-to-ice." (although that's not until February.) But part of me can't help feeling a little excited about the first snow.
