Ah, apparently the week does not begin on the Monday, it's just identified as the week of that date which is the first Monday. How confusing, Microsloth.
So, last week I read:
The first chapter of what apparently later turns out to be a rather bad Mary Sue/Bertie Wooster fic at fanfiction.net Jeeves Under Cover, which I MSTed (with much guilt) here and here. Please tell me someone wrote this as a joke.
miss_gordon's fic Between the Lions, a Harry/Ron PWP-with-background which gets my vote because it's Harry/Ron and mostly for the background. ;) ♥♥
miss_gordon's Pen&Ink Rainporn, a Captain America/Bucky total PWP which is... rather hot, actually. ♥♥♥
mizzmarvel's drabble dump of January 7th which includes "Jamie Madrox gen, use of 'balloons' (Marvel 616), Byron-and-Jeff gen (BSC), Tim/Dick (So Real-verse - DCAU), Jack/David (Newsies), Bumlets-and-Skittery gen (Newsies), Skin gen (Generation X/Marvel 616), Commissioner Gordon gen (DCU), Marvel Family, maybe Freddy/Billy if you squint (DCU), Billy/Teddy (Young Avengers/Marvel 616), Logan, MA, and the Stevenson twins (BSC), kind of a little Warren/Paige (Ultimate Marvel)." And I'm not going to rate them all individually. My general response was ♥♥♥
On Yuletide
To W., on a Question a Young Sherlock Holmes fic by Thea which was really pretty good. I do have an older guy kink, but sometimes you just can't beat those schoolboys even with a cane. ♥♥♥ ! (an exclamation point is like another half-heart)
Yes, Sir, Jeeves by
skyblue_reverie. ♥♥♥♥ !
The Unexpected Affair of the Injured Detective by Mary Crawford.
Requiem at Reichenbach by Alixtii.
Jeeves and the Pinnacle of Existence by Amy Fortuna.
Everybody Knows a Turkey (and Some Mistletoe) by Sapphire Mangston.
Man, I hate rating things. I gave up at the end, there. Sorry. It's not that they were bad, I just can't do any more rating today.
