Um.  V. unproductive.  Slept a lot.  Watched Jeeves and Wooster.  Ate bon bons cornmeal mush cooked in chicken stock.  Looked up Aberdeen terrier on Wikipedia (because Aunt Agatha's dog is called an Aberdeen terrier in the books, but they cast a West Highland terrier in the shows, and I wondered what an Aberdeen terrier really was... but I guess it's just a general term for the group Westies, Scotties and Skys all belong to...?)  Am trying to keep pushing the liquids.  A pathetic cough is trying to set in.

I've got to admit, though, for all the cheesyness, there's something about Edgar Rice Burroughs.  Something so... cheesy.  Come on, cheese-eaters, you know what I mean.

rassafrassin snow, *%&$! parking ban.

*seriously does not want to trudge through the snow, tonight*  Eor will go with me so that if the car gets stuck on the way he'll be there to help me.  And the walk back won't be as bad with company.

Car safely delivered, us safely back in our snug little hole, and my hiccups defeated.  ("But for how long?")  No more ginger ale.  Evil evil stuff.  Even though I put water in it and thought I had it totally flat, soda just loves to give me hiccups.  Trudging through the snow got my breath going hard very quickly, though, and that did the trick.  So keep that in mind if you ever can't get rid of the hiccups - do something to make yourself breath really hard. 

Also, Patak's Tikka Masala is really delicious.  What a lovely dinner.  Followed up by brownies - gluten free, of course.  Package mix.  A little out of date, but they seem to have cooked up fine.  (I figured it's all powdered ingredients, what's the worst that can happen?  A weevil or two?  I didn't see any.  Dates on powder mixes are just a formality, right?)
