The messes from yesterday seem to be getting sorted out, and are my big feet cause or effect?

Okay, I think I have sorted out the mess with having installed another Semagic when there was already one installed. Duh. I remembered clearly Eor having told me he'd downloaded dictionaries for American and UK English, and the odd fact that there is no Finnish dictionary because the spelling rules are too confusing. But still, I couldn't find it on my Start menu. I still can't, but I'm fairly sure I can fix that. (Or maybe it will fix itself because I'm using it? Because I think sometimes icons get added to the Start menu without my asking them to be there.) (ETA: Easily fixed. Right-clicking on the icon offers the option 'pin to start menu.')

And I'm glad to see that LiveJournal seems to be sorting out their mess. ( cut for rambling on )

I haven't been completely useless

I poked at my resume and sent out emails to people to ask them to be references for me. And did dishes.

OMG the garbage smells horrible! What did I not do?? I thought I froze everything organic! This is bad because yesterday was garbage collection day, and there was hardly anything in that bag so it didn't go out - so we're going to have to live with this all week. *gag* :P
