I know I did this before, but I caved yet again...

I was doing a meme that asked which celebrity you would choose to play yourself in a movie, and I wanted to choose Janeane Garofalo, but thought it would be a good idea to come up with someone who actually looked a bit more like me as a second choice, so I used My Heritage Face Recognition. Am amused by the suggestions it gave me - within the top ten was River Phoenix. :)

But then I realized I'd done it wrong and not saved my own photo in (an old one from six years ago), so I ran it again and got some different results. This time the male included was Rehnquist, which I giggled over most childishly, because I did read "The Homing Pigeons" when I was in college, where they use "rehnquist" to mean "male sexual part." :) Perhaps they purposely have the thing set to give you some really odd matches just for fun?

vodka, music and being happy that I'm done with work for the week.

Dang, just when I start thinking I might like to write something I look at the clock and realize it's time for bed. I'm feeling... delightfully good, really. It's my Friday, I've had two shots of vodka (okay, one and a half) and Eor's got some really good music going. Hot Buttered Rum String Band's cover of "Sugaree" is what's currently on, and, I might have mentioned this before, but I HATE the original song, it's like the only Grateful Dead song that I HATE, but I love this cover just so incredibly much. We're looking forward to seeing OotP tomorrow with littleredhead and groundctrl, after a (most probably lovely, as they all have been thus far) meal at Shere Punjab in Brunswick.

I've shot a few emails back and forth with my brother, Eightball, over the past few days and he's coming to Maine for my birthday in August and possibly even bringing his new girlfriend. (What a summer for the new girlfriends! Hawk's was a lovely girl.:))
