My trainee has cut back her hours, and I think that's starting today. I'm not sure if this is good or not. On the one hand I feel a bit relieved - it's not as if my tiime will be my own in the evenings, but I might be better able to stay on top of keeping track of her hours. On the other hand it's going to be ages before she gets signed off with only a few hours of training every day.

Still have a sore throat. This makes day seven, since it started on Sunday last week. I just began to realize that I have developed a feeling of fatalism toward this - I'm not getting better or worse at all, and after a week it just seems as though it's going to go on forever or until I get a whallop of major antibiotics. But the PA I saw on Tuesday said to wait until Friday of this week to do that. I'm not looking forward to feeling this way all week.

I'm trying to convince myself that really I'm going to feel better tomorrow.
