Surprise packages rock! :)

I found an Amazon box with my name on it in the entryway, today, and at first I was annoyed because I had started to order something from Amazon and then canceled it, so I was convinced that they had screwed up the cancellation. Imagine my delight, therefor, on seeing the inscription on the invoice: "What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a little Holmes/Watson?" It's "My Dearest Holmes," by Rohase Piercy - published slash fanfic! Thank you, mizzmarvel!! Obviously, I opened it before Christmas. Oh well. :D

I'm really glad that I opened that gift from mizzmarvel early, because it improved my mood, which needed improving.

Happily, eor faked me out that he might be home by 1PM, today, which means that now that it's 4PM and he's still not home I have done almost all the chores which I normally don't have done by the time he gets home.

( Of course I was in a complete panic most of the time. )

He's home! :) I hugged him and said I was glad to see him, as he's one of the few people who doesn't annoy me.

"That's not true," he said, "I annoy you! I just don't do it as often as most people."

I am an idiot misplace things. I know I posted asking who wanted cards for the holidays, but I apparently neglected to tag it 'holidays.' I thought it would stand out for me if I scanned through as one of those '0 comments' posts, because I thought I set it to screened comments. Or did I just ask people to write to me?

I think I got everyone's addresses compiled, but I was just going to go back and make sure. Grrr.*
