I got started well at 5:15 - jumped right up, took my shower, trudged on down to the parking garage with Eor, and he had me to my car by 6:30. I got it gassed up and went home for tea and toast, then went to physical therapy. While there it was quite evident that the sleep still wasn't out of my voice, and then the PT girl poked me, prodded me, pulled me and yanked me and twisted me this way and that while simultaneously explaining in detail and jargon to a trainee exactly what she was doing (which was fascinating, actually, and kept me amused), and when I got out of there I was beat. Man, I feel like I could sleep the rest of the day. And now I have to get a real breakfast and be off to work.
Still, it was a much more pleasant session than with the other guy I saw before. I guess I'll always respond better to a cheerful, friendly and, let's face it, pretty woman than to a guy who seems to think he's all that and a bag of chips.
She thinks the problems with my shoulders go back to my hips being out of alignment, so that's what she's working on. I find it hard to believe that she feels she can change the shape of my hips in like four to six sessions, but she says she can! My left heel feels as though it hits the ground harder, now, and I feel as though I'm sort of arced to the left. Probably I'm normally arced to the right and I just don't know it.
